Hat Patterns

Nou’s Charity Hat

One awesome thing about my workplace is that they give us 20 hours to use towards volunteering for the charity of our choice (with some exceptions).

I used a couple of my hours this week to design and also made some hats for our local Veterans here in Minnesota.

Feel free to use this pattern to make gifts for your family and friends. This is a very basic pattern using only double crochet and front post double crochet.

Please note: I am left handed. Some adjustments maybe be needed for the right handed crocheters. This pattern has not been tested.

Supply list:

  • Crochet hook size I.
  • 1 skein of Hobby Lobby yarn, I Love This Yarn in color  “Bright”. I used “Cappadocia” for the sample pictures.
  • Something to cut your yarn with.
  • Something to weave in the ends with.

Pattern Notes:

  • Chain 1 at beginning of round does not count as a stitch.
  • DC= double crochet.
